June 20, Sunday - Robert Spurr Memorial Hill Climb - Bird Ridge

• NOTE:  The Bird Ridge Race has reached its participant limit for the last two years.  Accordingly, AMR has made changes in both race waves and registration in order to speed up the bib pickup process, ensure a prompt start, and to accurately report race results.  Please bear with us as we try to make the race more efficient and enjoyable.

• 3 miles, 3,400' vertical, up-hill only
• Meet 8:30 am - Bird Ridge Trailhead - Race time 10:00 am women, 10:10 am men, and 10:20 am for the youth race.
• Please use new parking lot – No bib pickup after 9:30 am.
• Entry fee: $25 - NO RACE DAY ENTRY - 250 person limit.  Family discounts available – please contact AMR
• The youth race for participants 17 years old and under will run approximately 1/2 of the mountain.  Youths from 14 to 17 may run the full course if they want.

• 14 miles, 9,100' vertical gain, round-trip
• Meet 8:00 am at Lazy Mt. Parking Lot – race time 9:00 am

• No aid stations available.  Mandatory gear (windbreaker/long underwear tops/bottoms, hat, gloves, H20 bottle) required.
  

August 14, Saturday - Alyeska Mountain Run

• Meet 10 am at the base of the Alyeska Tramway
• Race time – 12 Noon – Entry closes at 11:30 am
• Bib Pickup and race day registration from 10 – 11:30 am
• Entry fee: $20/$30 race day
• Family discounts available – please contact AMR
• 2K – uphill only, 2000’ climb, courtesy tram ride down
• There is no roundtrip race

Potluck style dinner, 2010 overall and age group awards for the Grand Prix

• Meet 5:30 pm – McHugh Creek (4 mile race) or
• Rainbow Valley Trail Head (8 mile race), both races finish at Potter Trail Head
• Race time 6:30 pm
• Entry fee: $20 by 5/24, $25 race day

• 3 miles, 2,900’ vertical trail run with finish at top
• Junior race on shorter course

• Climb the North Face of Alyeska Mountain (tram base to tram top) as many times as you can between 9:00 am and 7:00 pm.  Complimentary tram ride down.
• Meet 8 am – Base of Alyeska Tram
• Race time – 9 am – Entry closed at 8:45 am
• Bib pickup and race day registration 8-8:45am
